Kinsa Wireless Thermometer
Kinsa is a San Francisco-based startup offering a line of smart FDA-cleared app-enabled thermometers in both wired and wireless (BLE) versions.
Kinsa thermometers are available in many retail outlets including Apple Store, Amazon, CVS, Target, and Best Buy and has been featured in numerous publications, including USA Today.
Designed and developed the following over the course of product lifecycle:
- BLE firmware protocol design
- iOS BLE SDK and test apps
- Android BLE SDK and test apps
- Test and manufacturing apps (for use in production line)
- Automated Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware SDK
- Firmware OTA update cloud service
In addition, directly worked with hardware ODM and firmware developers in Taiwan to resolve firmware issues, enhance product features, and implement OTA firmware update.
